Help get your patient’s HyQvia journey started

There are different options for getting your patients started on treatment once a prescribing decision has been made.

  • Acquire HyQvia directly for infusion in your clinic

The details below can help ensure your patients are equipped with everything they need for an optimal administration experience.

HyQvia comes in a dual-vial unit—one vial of Immune Globulin Infusion 10% (Human) Solution [IG 10%] and one vial of Recombinant Human Hyaluronidase1

HYQVIA 200-mL, dual-vial unit.

Vial shown is the 20 g vial and is not actual size.

The HyQvia dose is based on the IG component, which provides the therapeutic effect. Increased dispersion and absorption of IG into the bloodstream is facilitated by the Recombinant Human Hyaluronidase.

HyQvia monthly* dosing (following ramp-up) may vary depending on whether patients are switching from intravenous immune globulin (IVIG) treatment (for CIDP and PI) or conventional SCIG treatment (for PI only).

*Every 2, 3, or 4 weeks for CIDP. Every 3 or 4 weeks for PI.

Working with your specialty pharmacy provider

Double yellow circle with a purple check mark icon.

When getting started on therapy, your patients will receive HyQvia from a specialty pharmacy provider (SPP). Here are some considerations when working with an SPP:

  • Is HyQvia covered under the pharmacy or medical benefit? This will impact how your office acquires HyQvia and is reimbursed

  • Check the patient’s health plan to see which SPPs are covered (see authorized list below)

  • Avoid substitution by having the healthcare provider specify “dispense as written” (DAW) on the HyQvia prescription

  • If the SPP form doesn't have HyQvia listed, clearly write it on the form

  • Confirm that the appropriate tubing, ancillaries, and/or accompanying medications are dispensed alongside HyQvia

Find an authorized HyQvia SPP

Patients prescribed HyQvia may receive It from an SPP. Check your patient’s insurance coverage to determine which SPP is within your patient’s network.

The following SPPs are authorized to dispense HyQvia:
